My Hometown

わたしはちゅうごくのはんこん。
Hi Everybody! I come from Hong Kong, a tiny city in China.

I would describe Hong Kong as an multicultural city. In my hometown, I can eat food from any country with a ease. On the other hand, as Hong Kong is a colony of British before 1997, we can see Bristish architechture easily. Yet, there are many architechture and food which represents Hong Kong.  I am glad that I can be surrounded by different cultures since I was small.

Apart from multicultural, Hong Kong is an international city which is very busy. There are many commericial buildings in the central district and all of them are very tall. All stores open until midnight. Thus, my complaints of this city is the pollution problem and the housing issues. The roads are so narrow and all buildings are tall that I can even see the flat nearby when I see over my window.  The light, air and land pollution are severe in Hong Kong as well.

We can't see any secenry from our flat any can only see the windows of our neighbours.

Although there are many disadvantages living in Hong Kong, I still love Hong Kong as it is my home. Hope you will know more about Hong Kong.
