Severe Weather this weekend

It has been more than two weeks since my arrival here. The weather was extremely cold this weekend, I should celebrate to survive in the severe weather! Just kidding! I am indeed glad to have the chance to experience the weather brought by the Polar Vortex as it is rare. In Hong Kong, when I was cold, my mum would make a cup of ginger tea for me. I drank the ginger tea this weekend and it kept me warm! The tea is from Okinawa, Japen  (おきなわけん). I love drinking this so much!


Hope I can read the nutrient information label sticked in the back of the tea and buy it directly from Japen. It would be a lot cheaper! :P

    Ahh I love tea too! Over the past couple of weeks, I have been drinking a lot of it. My favorite is Earl Grey tea, which isn't Japanese, but I do enjoy a nice Green Tea once in a while. I hope you are enjoying your time at Notre Dame so far!

    Konnichiwa! Nicole san. I love drinking earl grey tea as well! It's tasty and I usually drink it when I am eating a cake. I enjoy the time here and all the students here are so friendly and helpful.

Easter Break

こんにちはみなさん！ I have listened to a song in Easter Break unintentionally when I watched youtube videos. The singer is creative. The lyrics of the songs are the hiragana as well as the sentences for daily usage. After I listened to the song for few times, I have revised some phrases which I have forgotten already. I believe the song is useful for all of us to revise the phrases in a relaxing way. Also, the lyrics are encourging. When we feel frustruated when learning the language, this must be a good song to cheer ourselves up.  I recommend all of you to listen to the song when you have free time. Additionally, I have discovered that his channel has translated the lyrics of some chinese pop songs into Japanese and I do love listening to them. Classmates, who are ちゅうごくじんas me, you can go to listen to these songs too. Learning a new language with something you are familiar with will be easier. Hope this works for you guys too!!!
